'k guys thnx sooo much for everything, i've sorted it all out, all i could pick up was to 80mm, (still under the control of the parents)... but everythings running excellent, if not a touch louder but meh turn up the speakers :P

ok so far as people have guessed --> it is intel, and it is a ti4600
i have tried different drivers, and it's about a 4month old problem, i never got around to finding out what it was until last week cuz i had too much school crap to do.

i think i know what kind of mod you have --> called a neo 2.2 or neo 2.5
nyways, pretty much you turn on your ps2 and put in the gameshark and then in the gameshark menu, go to start game or whatever (it's been a while), and then you put the game in (eject and swap) and then hit x...

i'm sure it's the temps cuz it locks-ups when it's closed and around those 32 degree temps, but say if i cool it down to 25 degrees using a fan, and then close it up, it runs smoothly w/o lockups soooo... i dunno

the room i'm in is pretty much room temperature (20-22 degrees) and that's the temp i reallly want my computer to be at, cuz it seems to run well at around 24 degrees (have it open right now w/ a fan blowing at it)

What's the best way to drop my avg comp temperature by 10-15
Well the ques. is up top, any suggestions would be helpful cuz my comp is overheating --> causing unstable games/3d mark, i'm sure this is the problem, so solutions are needed now! :) thnx folks

Thanx for everyone's help, problem solved --> it was the heating... my temp was hovering around 32 celsius (checked w/ intel active monitor) and so i popped it open and ran a house fan by the computer to cool it down to 22, then ran 3dmark to a smooth 1572, so not bad from 300 :D

just a thought --> could it be due to lack of power? cuz i have 2 hd, and 2 cd roms in here, plus sound card, network adapter, floppy, mb, all those fun lil leds etc...
