Re: XFX 8800GT with COD, or 9600GT?
1st of all the 9600GT is much slower than the 8800GT which equals the 9800GT. I'd grab the Asus 9800GT with the full 128 SP enabled. This is a no-brainer.

Re: Time for a new 8800GTS but which one! VOTE for one!
I'd definately go with EVGA. The 8800 GTS 512 has 128SP compared to my 8800GT which has only 112SP. Your card also overclocks better and is faster the a 8800 Ultra. Enjoy!

Re: Does this sound right?
That score is for only 1 4870. Make sure that your cards are seated properly as I have the same problems now and then with my 2 Asus 8800GTs and reseating fixed the problem. Give it a try.

Well, I managed to get my MSI GeForce4-Ti4400 (275/550) to 330/630 and it's running very stabily after I put some DDR-SDRAM heatsinks on the GeForce4's memory. I'm more than happy with that as when I had my ATi RADEON 8500 (275/550) I could only get it to 300/600.:smokin:

Remember, you CANNOT overclockthe RADEON 9500 PRO without the modified BIOS created by Kip over at www.rage3d.com. Check it out.

The GeForce4-MX460 is definately the best of the MX series but lacks pixel and vertex shaders. There are some things you shouldn't skimp on if you're a serious gamer and one of them is the videocard and the other being the monitor (nothing less than 21"'s should be acceptable).:smokin:

$500 U.S.?!? That'll mean it's gonna cost $908.50 Canadian (including 15% tax)!!! Nothing's worth that!

You'll want to get a GeForce4-Ti4400 which you can overclock to better than GeForce4-Ti4600 levels for $200 less. What a card and how!
