Re: System with BSOD, now Won't Post
Your right, it didn't make a lot of sense but for some strange reason it has solved the BSOD's. In fact I didn't want to make any kind of reply for at least a week to not jinx myself, but reseating the cpu did seem to help. The only thing that i've...

Ok, I went and bought a cross over cable to connect my xbox to my wireless PC, and I have enabled internet connection sharing. The Xbox is able to configure the IP info, but cannot resolve the DNS. Anyone have any experience with this or play...

Re: Overclock Advice
Well this board does have a separate frequency for the 2nd chipset that you can lock outside of the FSB for the SB to NB frequency. And it is supposed to be locked at 200 x5 for a 1000 HTT. I could lower it i suppose as i'm not using the second SLI slot. But i think...

Re: Overclocked AMD 4000+
Ok, so casecutter was right I was able to move 1-3 and 2-4 and nvraid just picked it up without a problem. And I have now been able to overclock the cpu from 2.4 stock to 2.8 stable at 233*12 with 1.45v.
But the revelation that my sata 3&4...

Re: Overclocked AMD 4000+
Ok, so i took your input about the SATA ports and did a search on the net about SATA ports being affected by overclocking and found that the K8N Neo2 (not sure about the platinum which i have) only has SATA 3 & 4 locked. Go figure i have my raid on 1 &...

Re: Overclocked AMD 4000+
I'm pretty sure that the AGP and PCI channels were locked, but not completely certain so i'll have to double check that. Only reason I was going to defrag it was I just loaded a ton of games that I hadn't yet installed and just wanted to clean things up. I set...
