  • should I replace my G4 fan? (Warning: Gone Feral)

I've got an MSI G4 Ti4200 and I'm thinking about putting some extra cooling on it for better OC'ing.

The GPU HSF on it is pretty good--would it be worth it to replace it with a heavier duty HSF? If so, any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You can never have too much cooling..Especially since the video card is one of the hottest things in your system.

That's a good replacement for a lot of standard HSF's. :thumb:

is it loud? the last thermaltake thing I bought was a smart case fan, and man, I don't think my wife will tolerate another loud fan...

I think I'm gonna go with the thermaltake fan--anyone else here have it and can give me a mini-review?

                        I too have an MSI GF4 Ti4200
But i have no Heat sinks on the memory. Should I put heat sinks on both sides of the card or just one side, if just one side which side should i put it on for better cooling?
                        Thanks
my view on the two party system...

both dude. Cooling ram on just one side is a waste of money:bounce:
