i dont thinkso,it should be able to handle that gpu,the gpu itself will be doing most of the work when it comes to gaming ect

Okay thank you for the help.
When i bought this video card,i was not sure.
I do plan on upgrading in about 1-year
          new mb,cpu,memory,but i still wonder
If i had say an intel I7 2600 or 2700 running at 3.9ghz or faster
would i gain very many frame rates ?

            Re: Asus GTX570 question ?

I doubt it would,I didn't notice any improvement from x58/i7 920 to 2600k/z68 using a 5870,I did benefit from switching to a 7850 gpu though

Ur processor and GPU r a great match... highly unlikely u wud encounter any bottleneck, unless u game on insanely low resolution that strains ur CPU more than GPU..
But it seems alright to keep the rig for a couple more years...

If u upgrade to 2500k/2700k, then expect 5-7 more fps . nuthing big...
