  • Point of view GF3 Ti200 128 mb ddr

Looking for a cheap videocard for my brothers pc, it's a rather low performance machine, a duron 850 mhz with 320 mb of sdram and a "pci !?" riva video card that does'nt perform to well i can tell ya... Found this card at a very low price, how are theese cards performing? "Point of view geforce 3 Ti200 128 mb ddr"
MAYBE we will also replace the 850 whith a 1300 mhz duron.
He wants to play games like gta3 at low resolution and details, this setup would manage that don't you think?
My thought was that the card might be a good investment cause it has 128 mb of mem and so on + tv-out.
A medium fast card for a medium fast machine...

    :rolleyes2

I agree with FLACO the 4200 makes more sense unless you get an absolute steal on the other.

Its a good card to upgrade and can be kept for a future rig he might want to build.

Hey if this setup currently runs a PCI videocard, does it have an AGP slot? :?:

Well, i figured that since the GF3 Ti200 128M comes as AGP format only...then he must have an AGP slot...no?: peace2:

That was orginal question....Does it have an AGP ?

                Hopefully it does...

Yes it has a 4x Agp port.
And it supports cpu speed up to 1500 mhz i think.

Well the vid card will certainly add some zip to it then but do check with the motherboard maker to be sure that it will support the "Morgan" core Durons though (1.3/1.4GHz Durons may just need a BIOS update for them to work). ;)
