I bought 8800GT cards but I got 9600GTs instead!!!

So believe it or not, I bought two video cards off craigslist (an online classified ads site) posted as 8800GTs and it turns out they are actually 9600GTs!!! I do feel scammed, but oh well.. I can't get them to run since I don't have the drivers, so I'm thinking of putting them on ebay..

Any better ideas about what to do about them??

Nice one.. You could sell them for quite a lot if you find the right people. As long as nvidia don't catch wind of your doing so :P

So I posted the two cards on ebay - I have actually gotten an email purporting to be from an Nvidia associate asking me where I got the cards, but all I know is that I got them from a guy off craigslist.

After some googling - it seems that some people have already been arguing about a pair of 9600GTs also obtained via craigslist. Just for clarification - I am not Xazaz (the poster of the other pair of 9600GTs).

It is a huge coincidence (and only mere coincidence) that we both have screen names that have X's in them and both our ebay names have "marine" in them - mine is because I used to play Warhammer 40k.. not sure about the other guy. The similarities are only coincidence, however, and are actually kind of freaky to me.....
