WELL I PUT A NEW FAN ON THE x800xl and it still runs at a stalled temp of 45c. In BF2 it plays pritty well but still lags off and on. But Still i get crappy ratings so in 3dmark the first video u go into a warehouse and it has all these guys shooting each other in there i only get about 14 fps which does make any sense PLUS what does FPS Really mean idk card runs hot way to hot i put a zalman 80mm fan on it with heatsinks please help me.

I wouldn't call that "crappy," but at that resolution it should be higher. Let's start by seeing if you have too many background applications running.

Open up Task Manager (press ctrl + alt + delete). Look at the bottom and tell me how many processes are running and what the commit charge is.

That's pretty bad, and almost certainly your problem.

Grab HijackThis from my signature and post the log.

hmmmmmm i got an amd athlon 64 3500+ 1 gig of 3200 ram, ati radeon x600xt 128mb pci-e, 250g HD. The only game i play is CS, and i get 100 fps in the resolution i play in (800x600). But i have 58 processes and a commit charge of 620/2459m(what does this mean?). Should i post a copy of hijack this? or should i leave it if all these processes arnt bugging me much? and would i be able to OC my comp? its an HP but most of the hardware is name brand, EG: MSI ram, abit mobo, celestica gold series video card. The only thing that worries me is my Hard drive, idk who makes it. any recommendations on what i should do? thanks in advance!
