Automatically start programs in secondary screen?

I just built a HTPC and have two displays connected to it. Projector for movies and monitor for everything else. Now I would like to setup WinDVD to automatically start in the secondary display (projector) when I insert a DVD into drive. I have tried to search for a way to do this but it seems there isn't. Any help would be appreciated, just in case there is a way to do this.

OS is WinXP. I am going to play games on it so unfortunately switch to Linux isn't an option. Well, maybe a dual boot would be if there is a way to do it in Linux.

Video card is 9800XT.

Not sure with the XT cards but Nvidia has the desktop mgr software that you can use to specify how to launch applications..
