  • Does my graphics card need a fan

The Fan On My Card Is Really Loud (Too Loud), and I can't find a replacement. Is it dangerous to take off the fan for the time being.

The Card Is A Inno3D Tornado GeForce 4 MX 460

Well, I'd say that it really depends on the rest of your cooling setup, but most likely, you'll want to leave it on there. If you take it off and it gets too hot, the card will be unstable, and you could een damage it if it gets hot enough. There should be some replacements that will fit, uless yours is some odd mounting setup or whatever. Even if it is, you could always get some thermal glue, that will actually bond the new heatsink/fan to the chip.
