  • geforce4 ti 4200

I e-mailed leadtek, well actually i e-mailed a bunch of companies about the upcoming gf4 ti4200. So far leadtek is the only one that replied to my message, here is what it was.

We plan on releasing that card around the end of this month or 2 - 3
    weeks.
As of right now I do not have any cost information but hope to receive
    some
    info soon.

    Best Regards,

I would imagine nVidia will want to sell a bunch of the high end 4600 models before they start selling the cheaper ones.

Sure.....pay 100% more for the extra 20% performance! It's ALL about the bragging rights, dude! "Your 4200 is my 4600's *****!"

The 4200 outperforms the Ti500 or Radeon 8500 and reportedly will retail for $199. I've got MY cash ready for their release. But please, by all means,....... everyone else support my need for improved products by handing nVidia $399 for the 4600. Then spend all day running MadOnion while I cwork my way through MOHAA at Max Detail. :)

Especially when TSMC and UMC have announced shortage of fab space :(
