Problems Geforce 4 Ti4600 (asus V8460 deluxe)

Hello

I recently installed my Geforce 4 and everytime I install the drivers I reboot and then it gets to the starting windows 2000 screen and then just before it swithes again to go to the log in one it freezes up and nothing happens

Asus P2B revsion 1011
P2 450
128 megs of sdram
Adaptec 2110s Raid Card
2 * 18gig Cheetah scsi 15,000 rpm
sound blaster augidy

any help in this matter would be great !

Could have been a bad install of the Detonator drivers. Was the previous card an nVidia based one also? If not, then there could be pieces of the old drivers still hanging around that is causing problems. See if you can boot into Safe Mode (if there is such an option with Win2k) and try to get the drivers installed again. I would also recommend trying to delete any rpevious drivers before you install the new ones. It may help, but if you had a different type video card before, a fresh install of Windows might be in order.
