  • Real Temp and TJmax

    <hr style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message -->How's everybody doing?

    I've noted the emphasis on proper calibration with respect to ambient temperatures and that particular i7 CPU for TJMax numbers in Realtemp to avoid inaccurately scary high temp readings. Does TJMax numbers have to be adjusted for every individual corei7 chip. My TJMax on my corei7 920 defaults at 100 C, is a callibration required here, and if it is, how do i go about doing it?

    I'm running a Corei7920 on an Asus P6T overclocked to 4.0ghz on 1.28V. Temps 45-47 C idle, 84 85 C at load Prime95 smallFFT( EIST,C1E,C state all disabled- more stable, but higher idle temps ) My ambient temps are about 28-30C.

    Thanks and Cheers.
