Too HOT? ASUS P4C800E Motherboard

    Just Added a Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower to my rig,

    With it I can now OC the board to 250FSB
    The 3.2E is now running at 4Gz

    CPU idle temp is now 37C
    Full load temp is now 58C
    Load sys temp is reading at 30

    System is as stable as a rock.

      I'd bet it's throttling itself down. Prescotts throttle at 60c until they go below it, so chances are it's throttling a bit when you get to load. Either way, it's not a bad overclock.

        Prescotts start throttling at 72-75C not 60C as most will spend much of their life time at around 60-65C normally anyway.
