It's BLUE! lol, nice job. I kinda want to paint mine silver. But I would want the keys to be silver too. Then I would have to buy decals and whatnot. Let's just say I am lazy :(.
Yeah, I was thinking of painting the keys, but then I would be lost the next time i need the asterisk or the up carrot or some lame key that I only need once every coupple of weeks.
Good job Mingus! Why did you decide to go with blue?
I think silver would look okay even with off-white keys, I have found that the off-white color of computer components, although not looking too great with different colors, never look too bad either.
A. I already have silver spray paint.
B. My case is going to be silver
:). Anyway if I could find some decals or something with all the keys on them i might do it. It would look pretty cool. Having a wireless silver keyboard. :smokin:
i did mine in silver, just last night. today i put the keys on and it looks good. I am plesantly suprised.
BTW Mingus, whats on the right of your board?? Looks like audio, but its too small to be EQ
It is a Koss in-line headphones eq/volume controll. It is pretty nifty, and really handy for lan parties. It aslo boosts the line level signal from your sound card, so you can crank up your headphones more at lan parties and whatnot. It is powered by a AAA battery. I scored it of ebay cheeeep.
Yes, pretty much. It makes all the difference in the world if you have a sound card, with a kinda wimpy output level, plus the eq is handy when you are playing games and whatnot.
I want to paint my case silver (now black) with blue flames....my question to you guys is if you know a place where they sell stencils of flames....and clearcoat i want a car like metallic finish.:)
Thats the smallest friggin EQ i've ever seen.
I got my sound card hooked up to my home stereo, no need for headphones! Plus i got alarm and it wakes me up every morning.
I dont have a digi-cam, so dont expect pics.
I dont mind sharing them, but to get regular pics and scan them is too much pain in the butt. But the colors go together pretty well. I used Rust-Oleum silver paint. I dont know if its the paint itself or the silver color, but depnding on how light hits it, it goes between lighter silver and darker silver. I am happy with it.
hobbie stores have decals that are flames. They also have paints there too. I spend most of my time in hobbie stores with this little remote control car
Hope the picture isnt so big this time:
OK I deleted the picture so that those on dial up wont go threw a big pain in the butt. I will take lessons tonite lol and hope that trick will teach me some more tricks!! you would never believe that there is over $1500.00 US dollars in that little sucker
