I just bought an Big Bang XPower LGA 1366 X58 board and have an issue with the SATA RAID controller. If I configure the JMicron for RAID in the BIOS the system hangs or reboots after reading the drives, I do not get a chance to enter the JMicron settings as it reboots before the "Press Ctrl - I" shows up.
I already RMA'ed the board but wonder what to do if this happens with the new board. Would I need to wipe the drives (I have 3 - 500G drives in RAID0) and start over or could the JMicron chip have been bad?
