Hello all. I hope this question is in the proper topic. If not, please let me know where should I post instead.
I have an old GA-H110M-DS2 (rev. 1.0) board. I noticed, there has been a new BIOS update for it after 6 years(!):
GA-H110M-DS2 (rev. 1.0/1.1/1.2) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
F27 5.32 MB Mar 26, 2024 "Update bios boot menu function"
Does anyone have any idea what this boot menu function is about, and why did Gigabyte release it for a practically long-time dead platform after the previous update was released in 2018 (6 years ago)?
There is a newer revision (rev 1.3) of this board, that has a release date of 2023 August. That is also something, I cannot understand, why Gigabyte released a Skylake-era motherboard in 2023?
