P55a-UD3 i5-750 8GB RAM Will not boot if external HDD and/or HDD in a installed cage[BPN-DE110SS] are installed.
If I boot without them, when they are connected WIndows 10 does not recognize them.
Disk Management does not see them.
Device Manager does not see them.[ I rescanned and no effect]
A MP3 reader such as SANSA Clip is Recognized[ I think I had to install a specific driver-can't recall I am very old]
Two drives are installed the standard way. A SSD & a HDD. They are both recognized correctly.
The file explorer shows a phantom CD-burner That does not exist.
It is not seen by device manager or disk management.
