  • Help with z77-ds3h

    Hello everyone,
I was working with clover on my pc for some dual boot on 2 different ssd.
something wrong happened and now it is going crazy.
the pc keeps on turning off and on without even getting to the post screen. Sometimes shows a screen that says "gigabyte uefi bios " on top and nothing else then it turns off.
once, after removing the cr2032 battery for several hours, I got the screen "cmos has been reset" .
    I had 3 options:
    -load optimized values and boot
    -load optimized values and reboot
    -enter bios

I entered the bios. The pc stayed on with no problem and I could change values, I selected "load optimized values" and saved. When rebooting I had the same problem as before with pc turning on and off.
I don't know how to reset the bios again or flash a new one.

    my mobo is gigabyte z77-ds3h rev 1.1 with f8 or f9 bios (I can't
    please help
    thank you

Yes eventually I was able to solve the problem. I took off the cr2032 battery for a few hours. When I put it on and restarted I got the "cmos reset" screen. From that point I entered the bios and the qflash utility. i downloaded bios f11a from another computer and put it on a usb stick. Then from qflash I flashed the new bios and was able to boot again ;)

I hope it can hope someone else
