I recently just built an x99 system using a gaming 5p motherboard and I have a very strange problem. If I enable any oc settings ,even if my pc is perfectly stable, it under clocks its cache to 2400mhz as it returns from sleep. If I restart the pc the cache speed returns to its set value. I have tried fiddling around with all the settings (even oc socket on/off ,cstates etc etc) and I can't make this issue go away unless I leave it at stock.
Anyone have any similar problems or a solution ?
