I suggest you to try to remove all memory except one, and try it then, still does not work? remove the memory and try another.

Might be a memory problem. I also suggest a bios reset to default optimized.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried single sticks, then the other. Then in different slots as well.

I can't however recall trying it with XMP off. I'd still be super annoyed if that fixes it considering I'm on a second set of RAM.

Will it when I finish work, problem being I won't know if its cured till tomorrow after setting it tonite. That's the most frustrating part of it being cold boot.
