  • Gigabyte App Center does not work properly

Hello all and happy new year.

I have been trying to get the Gigabyte App Center to work. When I install it the icon appears bottom right near the clock. If I then left click it the icon then appears on the taskbar and I can hover over it and see the App Center in a thumbnail but it does not appear anywhere on the desktop then the icon disappears/closes.

Anyone else had this problem ? I found a post on the Gigabyte UK forum last July reporting same thing but no one replied. Before anyone says it if you try and install the .NET 4.5 download from the same location as App Center Windows 8.1 reports it is not necessary to install .NET 4.5 as it is already part of Windows 8.1

    Any ideas ??

Yes but i noticed that is it hidden of the screen and you can just see the bottom on the top right of the desktop. You should be able to drag it down.

I'm having the same problem as the OP, but I don't see anything on the top right of the desktop or anywhere else to drag down. Plus, it's hard to imagine that's the way it's supposed to work. Unfortunately, install of App Center is needed to install Easy Tune - and its presence slows boot time considerably.

Why not use Intel XTU for overclocking or use the BIOS settings. I only used EasyTune a couple of times and didn't like it.

No problem. I never use any of the Gigabyte apps anymore as i find others are better. Happy overclocking.

Well? Why don't you post what worked so the rest of us can see if it works for us? Thanks

                    My bad.
I was able ti find mine by going up to the top right corner of my monitor and drag it down. For some reason the app window jumps off screen with just enough of the app window barely showing.
