  • X99-UD4 F9 Bios Probems

The X99-UD4 F9 Bios is terrible. It get tons of crashes; the default 4.3GHZ overclock doesn't run without crashing. It is far less stable than the betas.

"default 4.3GHZ overclock".... what (which CPU)?
For overclocking maybe settings are not same as previous BIOS,
    so you cann't blame BIOS.

      5820k.

I definitely can blame the BIOS.
If I change any setting from optimized default then within a few reboots it will crash and force me to reload optimized settings.
Custom settings do not work stable.
The built-in 4.3 GHZ OC completely fails to boot.

On the beta bios I was able to run a stable 4.5GHZ OC/

        For overclocking CPU:
Open new thread, list all you spec.,
so maybe X99-UD4 owners can express they finding.

How could other owners help me when it is the bios that is broken?

The built-in bios overclock itself fails to work.
Even if I apply a new OC setting, half the time the bios won't read the OC and simply report default values. Inside windows cpu-z will read the correct values tho.

ARE YOU LISTENING TO ANYTHING I AM SAYING?

It is not only my settings that do not work; the built-in gigabyte overclock does not work properly on f9 bios.
ANY ATTEMPT TO CHANGE ANY SETTINGS from RAM to CPU results in instability with inevitable boot failure and the prompt to restore default settings.

              This build is unstable.
