  • Most Stable BIOS for my x79 UP4?

I got a Corsair h100i about a month ago and decided to try overclocking my i7 3820. I decided it would be best to update the bios first to the latest official version (F4) trusting Gigabyte and not doing any research. I quickly discovered that this bios version broke the automatic sleep mode. Following another thread's advice I updated to the F6a bios but ever since I get BSOD about every other day even with no overclock. Is there a stable bios version out there for the x79 UP4? Its not possible to revert to any before f4, probably so that someone with an Ivy Bridge-E CPU won't brick their machines.

I've been getting 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" blue screens. BlueScreenViewer shows they were all caused by storport.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. I've reset all the bios settings to the optimized defaults and I've tried all the usual fixes and tests, memtest shows no problems with the RAM, sfc /scannow finds no errors, malwarebtes didn't find anything.
