It's the z87-ud3h board. I talked to someone on another forum and I was told this issue may relate to my ssd's. What happens is that I can cold boot no problem. When I warm boot (restart windows or hit the reset button), The raid controller oprom loses detection of my ssd's in raid 0 (2x OCZ agility 3 90gb). My only solution right now is to shut down windows or hold the power button until off and then cold boot (power button on) again. Does anyone have this issue with the z87 gigabyte motherboards? BTW, I have used the bios that came with the board (F7 unmodded),F8j unmodded and F8k modded version 1 and 2 (the f8 modded versions came from here). So, I know it's not a bios version issue. Would the dynamic application loader bios setting have anything to do with it? That seems to be the biggest major change between my ivy bridge (asus p8z77-v lk and 3770k cpu) and my current setup in bios (z87x-ud3h and xeon e3 1245 v3 cpu). I will do this eventually regardless is to have a backup to my mb raid by getting myself an adaptec 6805e hardware raid controller at the end of January. I am hoping to fix the current problem 1st so I know I have a solid backup in my motherboard just in case. Any thoughts?
