    Re: ************Gigabyte Take Note************

I observed something similar as well. I loaded optimized defaults, and after rebooting BIOS showed 4.4GHz CPU speed, which was exactly what I had set before.

That's right, nothing will work/save ,even optimised defaults until you reflash the BIOS again

Okay, so you have an i7-3770 4.2GHz CPU and at some point you had set it to 4.4GHz.

When you load optimized defaults, does it immediately reboot, or can you check the BIOS settings before it actually reboots?

If you can check the BIOS settings before it reboots, what is the CPU speed at that point?

          Re: ************Gigabyte Take Note************

You have to reboot manually just like with any other board, so can see the "new" settings, however: the settings are not applied until you reboot, so obviously, the current CPU speed is displayed.

I don't think so... My P67's OC ability is suck, no matter with the old traditional Bios or with their "new" UEFI Bios...

They even didn't put the option "Load-Line Calibration" in the UEFI Bios.

Hope there is some progress on the z77 UD3H bioses.

Currently using F19j, went away for 3 days, came back home, bios had forgot Sata Mode (from Raid to ahci), OS type (from Win8 to Other), all the 'UEFI only' boot settings had gone back to 'Legacy', disabled Lan and Audio were now turned on, best of all my cpu ratio had gone from x46 to x34.........but in MIT it still reports 4.6ghz and nothing I do can change it !!!!

Reset CMOS switch doesnt help, its still showing 4.6ghz in MIT no matter what I set the multiplier too.

Had to pull the battery for 10 mins to finally be able to change the multiplier and it have an effect.

Sooooo close to jumping ship back to AsRock or Asus now.
