it adds read/write slew for the memory,i set them to 3 for read and 4 for write

Ne'er mind wazza, I found it. How did you arrive at the Read 3 Write 4 numbers?

im not on that pc yet so can post a screenshot,i havnt really messed wih it,i used 3 for each but ill test and see if theres a any difference or improvement in figures

I flashed F15m for the UD5H, that's what I'm testing right now. It has the same settings I guess. I found the slew rate at the bottom of the memory config.

meh. I couldn't see any real difference between manual settings and Auto on the slew rates. But I only tested 3 & 4. I'll wait and see what you come up with. But I'm using Kingston 1600 HyperX ram x16GB on this machine. It's not really that good for tweaking, at least with my limited knowledge.

The UP4 rig is running the G Skill 2400, when I get to that one I'll see if there's any difference.

just want to add that if you cannot save your bios settings,then you need to reflash the bios again,then it should accept/save your settings,i ran into this issue yesterday,i cleared cmos and it still wouldnt accept my 4.5ghz oc settings,reflashing the bios fixed it

Heres settings for a stable 4.6ghz (please note that each cpu will be different in how much voltage/dvid it needs to be stable)





















I had to up the llc level one notch and raise dvid from +0.010v for 4.5ghz to +0.050v for 4.6ghz,i also lowered cpu pll from stock 1.8v to 1.65v,this helps you to use less cpu voltage whilst remaining stable,all power saving was enabled

temps went from 72/73c for 4.5ghz to 80c on two of the cores,high but still within intel limits,i could also pass ibt/prime95 with a much lower cpu voltage however it wasn't stable in games and threw up a lot of whea errors,1.248v was my stable voltage withought any errors,ati ccc tends not to load aswell if cpu voltage is too low so keep that in mind

what paste are you using boon between the die and ihs?
