Well technically the Z77X-D3H, and the Z77X-UD3H are both wannabe's. Ask Stasio he flashed is D3H to both the UD3H and UD5H bios.

Ok so who here is having lock/freeze in bios while overclocked. If you did how did you fix it? I have to keep my fingers cross that the system on lock or freeze while in the bios when the system is overclocked. This is with settings that are stable. It has not done it when at stock speed. I think it could be because of the Samsung ram. But even running the ram at 1600 9 9 9 28 1T @1.56v the system still locked up. Some times I have to power off or reset the system 2-5 times before I can navigate to what I want to change in the bios with out the system locking up. Yes i am using the latest bios F11.

              Did you try:
              running the ram at 1600 9 9 9 28 1T @1.35v?
              running with 2T?
              running only one ram module?
testing with a different brand of ram?

I actually have 1.32vdimm set in bios. If I leave memory timings and speed only have change cpu multi back to 35 for stock it wont freeze in bios. But yet the overclock settings will pass linx

Is your backup bios a different version?
If yes, flip the bios switch to boot from backup bios and pray.
If the older bios works OK when in the bios, this indicates that it's a bios bug.

I dont remember if I had the problem with the original bios or if I tried overclocking, but I did have the problem with the past few. I will try the backup as it is still on the original bios or should be.

                    Edit

I would try my old x58 memory but I already but that in my server which now adds up to 18gb of ram

So would it kill your server to temporarily have a few less GB of ram?

I get lockups (UD5H) when I try to overclock my G Skill Trident 2400 ram. It won't even boot to the empty UEFI screen, just a blinking cursor. I pretty much gave up on it after going as far as loosening up the bottom set of timings to 8.
Sin gave me some pretty loose timings to try but no go. Supposedly TT was able to overclock to x26 fairly easy and using a 2T CR. G.Skill TridentX PC3-19200 8GB (Z77 Ivy Bridge) Memory Kit Review :: TweakTown USA Edition
But if you look at their numbers they are terrible compared to what I get with stock timings.

I get the bios lock up and or blank screen with blinking curser generally if my vcore or dvid voltage is to low or bad vid card oc. I've been whining about this since day one.
