Or maybe it is in limbo like the trim support was for X79 in RST 11.6 OROM, possibly might just need a BIOS update to incorporate it (speculation).

Trying to learn more about the motherboards firmware and Option Roms. I noticed a modified BIOS updates the firmware of the items listed below on my GA-Z77X-UD4H motherboard but was wondering how to find out what versions my motherboard is using now? I installed Hardware Editor and found the ME Firmware version but couldn't locate any of the others. I was also curious if I flash my motherboard with a modified BIOS, then later flash it with a non-modified BIOS, does that cause the motherboard revert back to the original firmware versions? Thanks.

According to GB, Q9550 seems to be supported by BIOS F13 (step C1) or F14 (step E0).
BIOS F15c is available in Latest Beta Bios thread.

Thx for your reply. But is that for rev. 1.3 or 3.3?

These tools allow us to view original BIOS's ROM and include the latest. For more information Fernando did a great job

I googled around a little out of general interest, and all of the stuff surrounding the ME driver/fw is pretty confusing. I understand the fw is needed for the PC to be accessible for remote access independantly of OS, through some special Intel platform. But what's the point of the actual Windows driver?
