Hello Stasio! I've been fast out of the forum, but still faster you replying ... that is, impeccable as always!
Since I'm preparing for a dual boot configuration Windows / Hackintosh, I would need the UEFI ROMs.

    Thanks a lot!

          Stasio... I feel lonely...

Many and many tests later... i delete the old SataDriver, save then add the new one with "insert compressed" in "Insert FFS options"... MMtool added a C2 index at the end of the same Volume :

Am i on the right way or definitively not ? If you have a little bit of time to take a look to the new file (Z77X-UP5TH F12j mod1 modified with UEFI Sata 12.7.0.1936). Thanks a lot.

Hello Virtualfred and thanks a lot for the modded BIOS!

As stated with Stasio, since I'm preparing for a dual boot configuration Windows / Hackintosh, I would need the UEFI ROMs and i'll wait the final version (i read about your issues and doubts and the fact that you'll wait for an answer from Stasio)

              Have a nice week-end!

SataDriver can be only replaced (not delete and insert new one, under different volume and index).
For sure will give a error.
                Edit:
I will check first, because before for some reason, SataDriver replacement in Z77X-UP5 give also problem.

ok so i am using the mod bios and i have few questions. i can see that this site has so much info i been reading for days...
i got 2 scandisk sata SSD 128 gb 6 gb speed - raided 0 on port 1 and 2 which is the intel
i moved them to the marvell ports - in marvell bios it does show 2 drives active in raid and it is set to be the start disk but it boots to it and says
no operating system found... move it back to intel controller and everything is fine...
ok i i read that intel controller is better, thats fine.
from my diskmark picture can you tell me if this disk can go faster?
from the devices picture - do i have the best intel storage driver installed??

i also want to overclock this
Gigabyte X38/P35/P965 (DS* DQ* S3) Overclocking and General BIOS tweaking Guide
i see this guide but not sure which is my board
can anyone post me link to bios tweaking guide for the G1. guerrilla

Thanks for your answer, i was doubting after reading the end of "Special remarks for Intel RAID users, who want to install their OS in EFI mode" by Fernando :

Open the BIOS with the Aptio UEFI MMTool and verify, that no module named "SataDriver" is visible.
Check the Volume number (leftmost column) of the file "CSMCORE".
                      Hit the tab "Insert".
Hit the button "Browse" and navigate to the file named SataDriver.ffs you want to insert.
Enter the Volume number of the file "CSMCORE" (will be 01 or 02) into the field "Vol. Index".
Go to the "Insert FFS Options" section and check the option "Insert Compressed".
                      Hit the button "Insert".
                      Save the modified BIOS file.
Verification: The inserted "SataDriver" should now be listed at the end of the related Volume Index numbers.
Unintentionally that's exactly what I did in my last attempt.

If you can explain it simply... why is it possible to insert SataDriver when it was missing, and not delete and add ?

Edit : Hoping that the next Intel ROM 12.8.*.* will be lighter...

Hello Stasio, always grateful for this readiness to provide modded BIOS and I really appreciate the precision with which provide explanations of what was done or not done and why.
The physical limits are impassable, then it's okay for what has been done and I will try the bios, even now, with extensive testing and i'll release a feedback in the coming days.

Unintentionally that's exactly what I did in my last attempt.

If you can explain it simply... why is it possible to insert SataDriver when it was missing, and not delete and add ?

Edit : Hoping that the next Intel ROM 12.8.*.* will be lighter...
                              I reading Fernando forum,as well as station-drivers.
I think he copy things from here:
www.station-drivers.com • Afficher le sujet - Tip: Intel .bio files extraction
which showing how to dismantle Intel BIOS,to extract ROM's or MicroCode.
In oposite way,has been a few try (mictlan must reprogramm BIOS chip after bricking) and not much success.

Assembling BIOS is very sensitive thing and you must have knowledge and proper tools to do it.

I was hoping that someone would mod the f12r bios for me, add the new microcode and new irst-e etc etc.
A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY
