Yes I would also like to know what issues you were having and what bios you found it in. I looked and think I found the same Marvell rom but it was in a Asus bios. I did see in the notes of the bios mod I downloaded it said it addressed a bunch of issues, maybe ones found on asus thought dont know.

Right now my X58A-OC is down while PSU is on RMA for 2 weeks or so. So I would not be able to test for my self unless I brake down another system to steel its PSU for a quick test. But I was using the Marvell Ports as a boot drive and from what I could tell no issues. You can see some of my testings in the link in my sig. What drive are you using on the Marvell ports.

                Acebmxer,
I used it because the Original BIOS had an 80k IRST ROM (8.9.1.1002) and many times the Newer 120k ORoms won't work in those Older BIOS.
I was going to do a second Mod with the Inetl 11 ORom for testing but you already did it. :)

                comsci,
Are you actually using an Intel RAID Setup and if so is it working properly ?

                  Juan,

I'm actually not using the Intel RAID at the moment, but with Plextor M3 Pro 256G SSD drive attached to Transcend PDC3(SATA3/USB3 combo).

Just hope someday that the RAID option would come handy before I jump to the new X79 chipset, which comes with native SATA3 support.

Currently i can't max out the speed with M3P 256G (max. read 380M/s or so) and I think the bottleneck is with the P45 chipset, still decent for an

                  old board though. :D

Ok I just flashed my EP45-UD3P rev 1.1 with my bios mod with 11.1.0.1413 raid rom and it loads just fine. I had to install a second hdd to the system to get it to load.

I think the bios mod I had on it last had the 11.5 raid rom and I believe that on worked also. I did not go in a create a raid array but the rom loads.

I've noticed that lately too because I often run single drives in RAID, and it happens across many boards/ROM's too. I'm not sure when the change happened, but I think it's something Intel did in some of the latest ROM's.

So if anyone is modding and thinks the RAID ROM is failing due to not loading during bootup, connect two hard drives to verify before you decide for sure if it's working or not.
