Hi. Having a bad night after just buying two spanking new 3TB WD Green drives and finding out about the 746GB BIOS issue.

Problem
My current MB is GA-P55A-UD3. BIOS F11 The Intel RAID BIOS is v 9.xxxxx
So only can create a RAID 1 volume as 746GB.

I only found a list for UD3L and UD3Rs...here

Intel Raid Rom Updated to 11.6.0.1702

would it be hard/possible to slip in the Intel BIOS (11.6.0.1702) for the UD3 F11 Firmware some how? Thanks in advance

I need everything updated to the latest for P35-DS3R?

Does it normally matter for which version of the motherboard, I believe it is ver 2.0, but I might be wrong?

Also how do I update to the latest RST after bios update? Will the EXE version of the RST detect the updated RAID ROM? If not do I need a modified RST driver or which one would you recommend? Trim will work in raid after updating the BIOS and RST correct?

P35C-DS3R F12 MOD

Which revision of the P35C-DS3R will this work with (I'm using a rev 1.1)? Also, will this version of the ICH9RAID rom allow me to RAID 2x3TB disks with the Intel controller (don't want to use the JMicron)? At the moment they're seen as 2x800GB disks.

EDIT: I realised that this should work for revision 1.1 so gave it a shot and installed it. No problems, but it still shows my 3TB drives as 800GB. Big ask coming up: if you've got the time, could you help me by creating an updated modded BIOS? According to this forum post http://communities.intel.com/message/133216 the ICH9R of the P35C-DS3R should be able to read 3TB drives if the OROM is updated to 10.5 or later.
