[style=font-size:17pt]C. About Intel ME System Tools[/style]

[blau]Intel Management Engine System Tools[/blau]: The Intel ME System Tools are used for creating, modifying, and writing binary image files, manufacturing testing, Intel ME setting information gathering and Intel ME FW updating. These tools are not released to end-users but only to OEMs. The software below comes from official ME firmware updates which were provided and made public by various OEMs. Linked below you can find all the Intel ME System Tools packages I have found.

Flash Image Tool: Creates and configures a complete SPI image file which includes regions BIOS, Intel integrated LAN (GbE), Intel ME, Platform Descriptor Region & Flash Descriptor Region. The user can manipulate the completed SPI image via a GUI and change the various chipset parameters to match the target hardware.

Flash Programming Tool: Used to program a complete SPI image into the SPI flash device(s). FPT can program each region individually or it can program all of the regions with a single command. The user can also use FPT to perform various functions such as View the contents of the flash on the screen, Write the contents of the flash to a log file, Perform a binary file to flash comparison, Write to a specific address block, Program fixed offset variables etc.

Note: The "Tools Version Info" text document that each package includes has been made by me to list the available most useful/common tools and their versions. Most packages also include Intel's documentation on System Tools, FW Release Notes, FW Bring-Up, SPI Programming Guides as well as some other tools (GbE, iAMT, TPM, QST, VerificationUtility etc) which provide more support and functionality where needed.

Yes I have, via using this method on win-raid:

    RE: NVMe-Support: Only drivers or EFI-modules necessary? - 8

    and this:

[Discussion] NVMe BIOS Modules and NVMe Support

I have modded my GA-X79-UD3 BIOS but used the GA-X99-UD4 NVMe modules.

Fernando @ win-raid forum has tried it on his Z68 motherboard and it has to worked to some degree of success. A limitation is that it can't be the primary boot drive.

My board has cold start issues, which are gone as soon as I set PCIE from 3.0 to 2.0 speed.
They also disappear when I set a BCLK lower than 100. But then my system hard reboots eventually after the first cold boot and resets my BIOS settings.
BCLK on Auto brings back the cold start issues.
