    Hello Bios Modders,

I read a lot in the thread

I tried myself to update the beta Bios from the GA-X79-UD5 - F14e

with the UBU Tool didn't work would be nice if anybody could update the bios with the latest Roms

the tool said cant open bios file

and if one is also so kind to put the NVMe Bios information in that Bios

    it would be very nice

    thx egalwas

Ok tested around and think i got it

    x79UD514envme.rar

can someone look into the file and tell me if everything is OK

    would be nice

    thx egalwas

Not much to update your Z77X series.
If anything ,use UBU 1.37 :
UEFI BIOS Updater ? RGhost ? file sharing

                Stasio,

                I tried using UBU 1.37.
The tool is not user-friendly. It's hard to understand what's going on.
It should display all my current BIOS components and version number, And offer updates for components that have a newer version.
But it only shows GUID of my current components, not version numbers.

I'm afraid it's too risky for me to do on my own, as I might mess something up.

                    OK, thanks.

I decided to go ahead and flash the BIOS that I updated with UBU v1.37.
I have DualBIOS, so I can use the secondary backup BIOS in case of trouble.
BIOS flashed OK. After that, updated MEI FW from Windows.
                    Done.

                        Thanks, Stasio.

I already have Intel RST v14.6 installed on Windows 7.
Now I will update MEI driver.

You say that my chipset supports RST up to v13.2.
So will using v14.6 cause any problems?
I now have v14.6 both in BIOS and in Windows.

                        EDIT - Updated MEI driver:

The best is to pair RST ROM and driver.
                          Should be OK.

                          Update also
