      Hi guys,

why with this modded BIOS I can still read that the RAID stuff is 11.6.0.1702 (in the bootup and after pressing Ctrl+I)? I just proceeded to a fresh Windows 8 reinstallation on a RAID 0 array using the 13.6.0.1002 driver and through the OS, in the SATA RAID controller properties, this last release is shown correctly. This one should at least refer to the OROM release 13.5.0.2164, as reported in the Intel official notes ().

Obviously I'm not a super expert, but can you explain the fact? Have I done some mistake?

Thank you very much in advance.

So, your message is: despite what you read where you did it, these are the OROM releases. But what can I do to read those release numbers like you have done? I'm not getting you wrong, I'm only suspecting the source of the file from which I've done my BIOS update at the time (the filename is different) and I would like to check properly.

          Thank you again.

Just plucked up the courage to try the "UEFI BIOS Updater" (UBU) tool as advised by stasio.

As a base I used the last file created by stasio for my motherboard and other than the Intel iGPU VGA ROM part I think it went ok.

                      Modified splash logo 2

Please tell me, were the update of components since the last modification? If so, anyone can update mod bios? I will be very grateful.

Also, the question: I have for this motherboard installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology 13.1.0.1058 - This is the last version that I can install? I tried to put a later version of version 13 - the error associated with the lack of framevork .net 4.5, although I use windows 8.1 pro and this soft included in it...
A version of 14 indicates a lack of support. Thanks.

Please tell me, were the update of components since the last modification? If so, anyone can update mod bios? I will be very grateful.
                          Right here:

Also, the question: I have for this motherboard installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology 13.1.0.1058 - This is the last version that I can install? I tried to put a later version of version 13 - the error associated with the lack of framevork .net 4.5, although I use windows 8.1 pro and this soft included in it...
A version of 14 indicates a lack of support. Thanks.
                          See above
Put the same RST driver version (or near) as the firmware.
v13.2 or up including v14 are a no go for serie 7 chipset.
(unless modified firmware v13.2 and up or v14 is used but that is not recommended)

Thank you so much! I updated bios, problems not yet seen!
IRST 13.1.0.1058 - only this version was placed, the other above 13.1.0.1058 was not found, there are already 13.2.x, which do not deliver.
Question: As I understand, given the age of the GA-Z77X-UD3H is not worth more to expect any updates related to BIOS? Developers from gigabyte at all thrown in early 2014 to update the BIOS and even the latest official version is not released out of beta ...
