Hello, I would ask if there are new modded bios for z87x ud4h. I tried your f8d mod and really liked it!
But right now I'm on new F10 bios, cause had some bugs with sleep-wake, and so it would be great if there is an f10 modded bios!!

    Anyways great work! Thanks!!

The BIOS listed below, from the first page:

                        GA-EX58-UD5 Bios F13 mod
                        Updated with...
                        Intel RAID for SATA 11.6.0.1702
                        Realtek LAN 2.50
                        Jmicron RAID SATA 1.07.28

                        With this RAID ROM: http://www.smartredirect.de/redir/cl...M-Modules.html

                        Taken from Section B.1 here:

This is the same version ROM that is already in the BIOS listed on the first page, but has been modified to allow TRIM to pass through on RAID 0 configurations on X58 chipsets

                        Thanks,

                        Jason.
Let me reiterate the above request (despite being months old).

X58 boards are very usable to this day. If they're updated with true Raid support (TRIM capable), then they have "nowhere to go" and will stay on our pcs for years to come. I tried my hand with Bios modding but I ran on checksum errors of some sort. Given how limited my time is I expect that I will be able to produce a working modified bios, but it will take me quite some times (weeks certainly)...

Given that there are people in here who already have a good grasp of the concept I would expect that modifying the above bios (to include Trim support) would be a relatively easy exercise. So if anyone sees this, I (and those still owning this old board) would be very grateful if the above request is granted.

                        Thanks.

"MEI firmware versions 5.x through 7.x are only designed for chipsets G41, G45, etc. and are going to be limited to Intel branded motherboards; compatible driver versions are X, Y, & Z.

MEI firmware versions 9.0xx are only designed for H81, H85, Z87, etc. chipsets, and compatible driver versions are X, Y, & Z.
MEI firmware versions 9.1xx through 9.xxx are designed only for chipsets H97, Z97, etc. and compatible driver versions are X, Y, & Z.
MEI firmware versions 9.5xx are only for X99 chipsets, and compatible driver versions are X, Y, & Z."
                          Specific documentation of that nature.
                          ...................................
                          Edit:
Also: which chipset boards get the 1.5M vs. the 5M varieties of MEI firmwares.
                          ^^

                              Based on what specific documentation?

OK, now what about: "Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Version 10.0.30.1060 (1.5M)"
                              Description:

                              Subject: Windows 20xx / 7/8 / 8.1 (32/64)

                              Date & Version Drivers: 09/23 / 2014,10.0.30.1054

                              To: Z68 / X79 / Z77 / Z87 / Z97 / H81 / H77 / H87 / H97 / X99 / ... (Firmware 1.5MB)

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Version 10.0.30.1060 (1.5M)

That site (where I've also seen your forum contributions) is absolutely clearly stating that firmware version 10.x is for Ivy Bridge and Haswell chipset boards.
If you have a different opinion, then please provide some kind of a second source verification.
