As for the 91xx Marvell update - Would you know where i could get the lasted firmware and info for flashing it. Thanks for your time.
      Thanks for the Feedback.

Read through this Thread it may help you:
Slow Bios after flashing Marvell 2.2.0.1125 - how to restore original Bios FULLY

I flashed my GA-P55A-UD4P Marvell 9128 Chip with that Marvell 2.2.0.1125 AHCI Firmware (from station drivers) without any issues.

      I used this firmware:
      marvell_91xx_bios_2.2.0.1125.zip

I copied the cpuAHCI folder contents to a Bootable USB Stick and typed in Go and Voila, my 9128 chip updated as it should.
NOTE: I use AHCI Mode on my PC, so that's why I chose the cpuAHCI Folder contents.
You need to check and make sure that Firmware IS what you need for your EXACT Marvell chip/MB though.

This seems to be a newer version of the Marvell 91xx Firmware and may work for you:

        Hi NoJuan999

I flashed the Marvell rom with the newer .1125b update - Everything worked fine except a error saying it cant update bios as its not a 9123, I think the new beta has some patch for that specific chip as mine is the 9128. However the flash was still successful updating firmware from 2.1.0.1502 to 2.2.0.1125b and Bios from unknown to 1.0.0.1033.
I did notice a little speed difference but nothing to talk about - Just boot time seemed a little faster. (2 X SSD samsung 840 256GB (500GB) @ Raid 0). Also in the bios selection menu it is shows Trim support now. I may need to update the Marvell drivers but that can wait.
It did however fix my laggy USB issues %100 all the ports are more stable now with transfer speeds.
Another thing is i flashed it without removing my SSD's - I was not sure if i would have to make a new Raid array. However it worked and i didn't lose my Raid 0.

I tested E-Sata today and it worked fine and stable and shifting movie files where fast and inserting/removing without issues.

So again big thanks for your time and help. If you can add the GA-P55A-UD3P(rev 1.0) with current updates to the main page Im sure people will find it helpful.

          ^ Excellent Feedback taxman.
I'm glad to hear everything worked out well and you didn't have to re-create your RAID Array.

              • X58A-UD5 rev2

                Hello,

                I have a Gigabyte X58A-UD5 rev2
I am currently using the latest version of the modded bios from the first page of this thread for my motherboard:
                Gigabyte_GA-X58A-UD5_(Rev_2.0)_FF3_IR12.7_JM28_MV33_RT58

Is there any chance someone could be kind enough to help me update the Intel and Marvel firmware on my motherboard?

I would really appreciate the help.

I'm getting "Please update @Bios to the latest version before updating your BIOS." message, when I try to flash the F3D bios file...
But I have the latest version already.

                                Then,why you didn't use Q-flash?

                                Btw,
