F16 mod11 gives me cold boot issues, if my computer is shutdown like more that 2 hour the first boot the network adapters and some of the usb ports don't work. F16g mod works normal...

      • GA-Z77X-UP5TH BIOS F12j mod9 only 1 of 2 Thunderbolt display ports work.

With this BIOS, only one Thunderbolt port works (the one closest to USB port).

My setup: I have an apple thunderbolt display in one port, and an iMac 2010 using the other port (via mini displayport)... Neither monitor will work in disabled port, both work fine in working port.

Tested with a non-modified GA-Z77X-UP5TH BIOS F12j , and both thunderbolt ports work fine.

With the GA-Z77X-UP5TH BIOS F12j mod9, I tried countless BIOS settings to try to get both thunderbolt ports to work, but no dice.

I'm thinking it's probably this: Intel PCI Accelerated SVGA 2137 PC 14.34 to 2170

I think its silly that gigabyte don't support crucial memory ...one the oldest and still going memory companys who provide fantastic modules ...my g1assassin2 wont read the spd chip and the ballistix utility says motherboard not compatable ..yet all the new baby companys are supported.

A wild guess, maybe Crucial does not stick to SPD/XMP specifications for some reason and thus clash with a certain idea that Gigabyte has? I don't believe it is a question of Gigabyte needing special support for Crucial unless they do something very different.

Can someone update this beta bios for g1assassin2 please ...I want the full microcode patch from the ubu tool ...when I try it says file exceeded volume ...so its not being compressed, https://www.mediafire.com/?5wqa8pcjub8adp6 , please update to all latest modules with splash screen logo 2 I think it is, I would like sandybridge and ivybridge microcode. BIOS is 13a for g1assassin2 . Don't bother ...its a load of crap just like 12z is ...half the options don't work lol. Surely they must test the bios before asking me to try it lol ...one of the simplest enable disable options for lan and they didn't even bother to see if it works.

There any chance for a modified version of Gigabyte z77x-UD3H but for revision 1.2? Or is it possible to use the cbrom tool to extract the mod from earlier revision and merge it with the newer? I'd really appreciate insight or assistance. Thanks!

hello, I ve try to flash the bios of a gigabyte G1.guerrilla:

                            X58-G1.Guerrilla Bios F4d mod
                            Update with...
                            Intel RAID for SATA 11.5.0.1414
                            Jmicron RAID SATA 1.07.28
                            Marvell 9182 Rom 1.0.0.0025

maybe I make a mistake but I boot on dos and use the autoexec.bat

it succesfully flash the bios to f4d bios but apparently nothing change on sata drivers it still apears to be the 1.07.06

so i modifed the autoexec.bat to "flashspi GAG1GMOD.F4D"

it succesfully flash the bios again but nothing seem to have change

is there any updated mod posible ? (last mod date MOD_7_11_12_f4d)

sorry for the bad englih :)

You can post the beta bios 13a if you wish Stasio ....its from gigabyte ....untouched ....there is some minor tweaks in regards to memory performance and power management ....but enable and disable lan doesn't work ...that shouldn't be an issue to ppl who are using bigfoot ...so if you would like to add it to the beta bios section ...go ahead.
