Last question from now, i saw in this modded bios from OC Force the f7c one has a lot of bold changes( I think that the bolded changes are the most importants right?) this changes may make the system better or the changes is just in the structure?

My cpu is i5 2500. Do you have any idea what would be the problem? Oh, and I cant overclock uefi wont let me, i can do a small clock with F9 bios even with i5 2500 i can get it to clock to 3.8 Ghz

Hello Vlavot. Unfortunately I have to tell you that I had no problems blocking the fan: with both traditional and UEFI BIOS. The case of my computer is always open, so if the fan had stopped I would have certainly noticed this. I have your same CPU with the factory-supplied fan, you should try to replace your Thermaltake and see what happens.

Bios after F5B don't work with my processor, that is inclusion turboboost leads to impossibility of loading.
Therefore I also ask to modify F5B, independent modification is impossible - Bios isn't flashed.

                          Hi Mseirco,

When i try this new Bios i was unable to start my MEI driver anymore, So actually i found the F17 good, just for info i jump from F14 to F17 final, between versions was buggy for me, and the f18 too, so i will wait for next one.

The F17 mod is actually the most stable Bios, i think.

                          Ghostearth.

Just wondering if X79S-UP5 WI-FI BIOS modded here belongs to the rev1.0 or rev1.1...for some reason, last F5c Mod doesn't let me neither boot nor install any Linux distribution. Since those two mobo's aren't all that different but ever since I flashed that BIOS, I cannot install anything but the Windoze....Any clues?
