          I'd also like to report: a successful bios flash for that bios, using the Gigabyte @bios utility for 8-series [@BIOS (Intel 8) B13.0910.1] under Windows 7 64-bit.

            Thanks again virtualfred! F5 needs The Turbo Boost Bug Workaround still, but seems a bit more snappy at booting and overall operations. The CPU voltage seems to have been scaled back/down a bit as well. Other than that, so far so good.

                    Gotta keep up with the Jones'es, uh I mean virtualfred's, even though I think there's only one of 'em. He's got f16 mod 10 on his gigabyte Z77X-UD5H, I have f16 mod 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        I see on the first page that the F5 modified bios is gone? is there something wrong with it or better use F5E modified?i'm stil on F5B modified (gigabyte x79 UP4)
