Yes pretty confused... or to much complicated for me
ME firmware and MEI also seems to be used by OC tuning tools, and some users had issue with BCLK when i attempted to insert lastest ME firmware directly in BIOS... Of course that just means ME firmware is necessary but not that is useful to update it .
It is really useful to complete and keep your PC Specs or Signature up to date in Settings /My Profile (motherboard, CPU, BIOS version modified or not ...) - Thank you all .

You must install ME driver under Windows before updating ME firmware. Did you try to install the last ME driver ?

How did you manage to install 9.5 in the first place? Z77 only supports 8.1, AFAIK.
In the screenshot you posted, the ME device is not present. It's probably on top of the window, showing as "PCI simple communication device" or something like that.

So far nothing has changed compared to F16c which was great for me... same OC with my RAM still at 800MHz CAS8, i have to try XMP again (933MHz CAS9) but it may take few day to know if there an improvement of compatibility cause BSOD can appears only after 1 week...
