GA-EP45-UD3P v1.6 BIOS/CMOS Options

I am familiarizing myself with a new motherboard and I am very much a newbie to OC'g but having a blast.

I have a silly question. I see many screen shots of peoples EP45-UD3P bios options and mine are no where near as thorough.

I suspect that the additional options related to EIST, etc are cpu driven? I only seem to have the c1 halt state.

C2/C2E State Support
C4/C4E State Support
CPU Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2)
CPU EIST Function

Upon closer inspection, the manual notes that all of these are cpu dependent. I appreciate the post but that appears to answer the question.

i dont think a pentium d chip supports
C2/C2E State Support
C4/C4E State Support
CPU Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2)
CPU EIST Function

only from dual core onwards maybe

Yes, those options are only in newer Core based CPU's.
