  • Umax Pulsar RAMs: Heard of this brand?

Someone is offering me Umax Pulsar RAMs. I haven't heard of this brand or company. Any feedback? Don't know if their DDR21066 kit will be compatible with my Gigabyte mobo.

Never heard of them, but looks kinda like Transcende's Axeram

If you could find a review that said what IC chips are used we could better guess.

If it is free, or super cheap, grab them and try em out. If they don't work you could always sell them

Unfortunately its neither free nor cheap :(

I'll pass this one. It's not worth the trouble to try it out on my mobo. Thanks for the reply!

Well then since it is not cheap or free, sounds like that is the best thing to do since you can't be sure it will work.

If you change your mind and try it, let us know if it works or not for future reference. Thanks

I will! But I'm looking for an 1066 RAMs right now. My E5200 will only go up from 2.5Ghz to 3.9Ghz on my Kingston DDR2800 KVR.
