Gigabyte x58 UD7 + Intel G2 setup

G'day all,
I'm relatively new to the ssd scene and was wondering what would be the best port on this motherboard to connect the ssd to. Would there be any benefit in attaching it to the SATA3 port or should I just stick to the standard SATA II-0 port.

Use the SATA II 0 port. The drive only supports SATA II and the performance on the Intel chipset controller is usually better than on the add-on controllers like the Marvel SATA III 6Gbps controller.
