How long does the BIOS takes to POST (IDE/AHCI) on a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4?
I want to know from users of this motherboard model since mine takes around 16 seconds in IDE mode and 26 seconds in AHCI (see videos of BIOS below).
The video starts a soon as I pressed the power button.

I contacted Gigabyte and they stated that is normal but they gave me the option of RMA the mobo.
If this is normal then there is no point on RMA the mobo.
I tested the mobo with several configurations starting from the bare minimum (CPU, a stick of RAM, video card & hard drive) but it did not shorten the time.
I tested my hardware in these two motherboards GA-MA785GM-US2H and GA-EP45-UD3R and in these Gigabyte motherboards the BIOS POST in 8 - 9 seconds.
Thanks.
