Was having issues getting the intel (blue) sata ports to work with my Crucial 64gb SSD......works 100% ok in the jmicron ports (white).
Just updated the firmware on the SSD to the latest, thinking that may solve my problem.....but its just the same.
The SSD will work fine in IDE mode, but as soon as I switch it to AHCI it hangs before W7 can load, at the Serial ATA AHCI bios screen (as soon as it gets to the port that the drive is plugged into). AHCI driver is 1.20E which I think is the latest).
I have tried everything I can think of (different ports, unplugged everything so only SSD is connected etc etc)....still the same.
Will a bios update help? I am currently on F9M? I have updated the chipset drivers to the latest Intel also.
Any ideas?
