  • EP45-UD3P: Virtual Cable Test? Bad LAN?

    Hi, all.
Haven't tried using the LAN2 port in the 2 months I've been using the board until last week. When connected, there's no light indicating there is connectivity on either the port or the router side (same ethernet cable works fine on LAN1). When I tried the SMART LAN2, it only shows Virtual Cable Test, only option is to escape back to the CMOS peripheral menu.
Green LAN disabled, HW LAN2 enabled, obviously, stock F8 settings. XP x64 doesn't even detect the presence of the second LAN adapter.
Is this an indicator of faulty LAN or is there something I missed?
    TIA for any input.
