I have a stable OC with an E8400 and a GA-EP45-UD3R. Prior to this I was a Dell guy and was used to an option in the BIOS that read "Fast Boot". When enabled, the boot screen flew by and the OS booted quite quickly.
I don't see anything like that in the Gigabyte BIOS, and I was wondering if I can improve on the already spectacular boot time (27 seconds cold boot to login screen Windows XP Pro). It seems as if the devices are detected in a flash, but then the BIOS enumerates the entire DMI pool and IRQ resources. I tried full screen logo, but that does nothing other than mask what is going on behing the logo screen anyway.
Any ideas?
