Cannot start at 3.23 but ok at 2.97

  • Cannot start at 3.23 but ok at 2.97

    I tried to change the CPU Host Frequency from its default to 360 it did not work but works at 351... do I need to tweak the DRAM area to reach higher?

    Now I followed everything in here and was able to boot up to 3.57ghz using the q9550 with Gskill DDR2 1066 memory. Somehow I think it is not stable although it boots up using Vista Ultimate with SP1. I will try to do a memtest or whatever utility for a few days just to see... as of now it is ok. CPU temperature in PC health is 27C???? I thought it would be way higher.... I had installed a few others like Oracle 10g and running a few nested queries and it seems to be fast. Below bios is what I had from some super gurus I found here and just use it as a template.... b4 I was not even able to boot up at 3.01 but after using and slowly changing the below settings I was able to boot up at 3.57.... kinda worried to push a little more to 3.6 even as I have a lot of queries to test... just no time to mess with the bios... bad economy... must work to earn and learn more.

      I thought a memory had to be like 5, 5, 5 15 but mine is all messed up.... will there be a problem with this settings? Seriously how far can this config be pushed to? Kinda nice to boot up so quick and doing simple photoshop sharpen on large jpg files so fast.
