  • Giga-ex58-ud5, North Bridge temperature

    Hi, guys:
nice to meet you here! it's really a good place.

I'm now using the ex58-ud5 mobo. And it seems my north bridge temperature is a little bit high. It's usually over 42 degree when the system is idle. While running the prime95, it's over 54 degree or something. the room is around 15 degree...

    so is it normal?

    Many thanks!

    That sounds fine...

Looking in your handbook (or the PDF document), page 25 (PDF) says:-

    Northbridge Temperature Indicator =

Led Status (left of the Northbridge - when board mounted conventionally)

    1) Under 60C Led OFF
    2) Between 61C and 80C Led GREEN
    3) Above 80C Led RED

The handbook has a lot of info in it!
